18 passengers are feared dead as a commuter bus plunged into Arun River at Ogbere, after Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
The National Emergency Management Agency NEMA south West Spokesperson, Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye said that said the bus plunged into the river since Wednesday.
According to Farinloye, recovery exercise commenced yesterday in strong partnership with Ogun Government, Ijebu East LGA, FRSC and police mobilized local volunteers/divers who know the terrain well to commence recovery of the victims.
At the time of filing this report, Farinloye said one body has been recovered while search for other bodies continued.
