Red Media Africa hosts undergraduates, Young Entrepreneurs
As part of efforts to groom the future communication professionals; Red Media Africa has hosted Young entrepreneurs and undergraduates of mass communication from 6 universities across Nigeria as well as a number of young entrepreneurs at the campus edition of The Red Summit and at the SME 100 Master class.
The Masterclass was the third event organized as part of Red Media Africa’s 10th anniversary.
It provided an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to learn public relations strategies that would not break the bank.
The future leaders also had the space to dialogue with media professionals while receiving invaluable insight to shape their career path.
Both events were held simultaneously at Landmark Centre, Lekki, Lagos, and the Julius Berger Hall of the University of Lagos.
The event at Landmark Centre focused on young entrepreneurs who were exposed to enlightening insights from successful media entrepreneurs.
It featured entrepreneurs such as RED co-founders Chude Jideonwo and Adebola Williams; renowned broadcaster, Agatha Amata; Cordelia Okpei, and the Dean of the School of Media & Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Dr. Ikechukwu Obiaya as speakers.
Present at the UNILAG Master class were students from various Nigerian universities such as the University of Ibadan, Lagos State University, LASU and the host university. It featured speakers such as the director of Arts, British Council, Ojoma Ochai; popular blogger, Tosin Ajibade; Anita Erskine, Chris Ogunlowo, Isabella Akinsheye, and Oluwasola Obagbemi.
The event is aimed at building future media professionals.
