FG sacks Lamorde, appoints Magu as Ag Chairman EFCC
President Muhammadu Buhari Monday sacked Ibrahim Lamorde as the chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and also
approved the appointment of Mr. Ibrahim Mustafa Magu as the Acting Chairman of EFCC.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina said Mr. Magu, an Assistant Commissioner of Police will take over from Mr.Lamorde who is proceeding on terminal leave ahead of the formal expiration of his tenure in February next year.
