Police arraigns man for alleged stealing of N15m mini buses

The Police from Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (Force CIID) Alagbon-Ikoyi, Lagos, today, arraigned a 49 year-old man, Benanian Nwuguru, before an Igbosere Chief Magistrate’s Court, Lagos, on alleged stealing of six mini buses, 16 fairly used vehicle engines valued N15 million. The defendant and others said to be at large, were alleged to have committed the said act sometimes in 2014, at Apapa, Lagos State. A Federal High Court, Lagos, today, adjourned till January 22, 2019, for report of settlement of the dispute between MTN Nigeria and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) over the controversy surrounding the alleged repatriation of $8.1bn profits from Nigeria.
