Caverton Crash: ART frowns at VP being flown by foreign pilot

The Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative (ART) has frowned at the fact that the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo was flown by a foreign pilot on a Helicopter owned and operated by Caverton which crash landed in Kabba, Kogi State last Saturday with twelve (12) passengers on board . Lawyer files suit to end trial of suspects in absentia

A Lagos-based lawyer, Gideon Okebu, has filed a suit before a Federal High Court, Lagos, seeking an order expunging a section of the Administration of Criminal Act (ACJA), which provides for the trial of any defendant in absentia. Police charges lawyer, 2 others with alleged N120m fraud
