The Peoples Democratic Party on Monday said the Deputy Director-General (Administration) of its Presidential Campaign Organization, Mr. Tanimu Turaki (SAN), has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission. Court sentences Indian Hemp hawker to 4 years imprisonment

An Indian hemp seller, Idris Jimoh, has been convicted and sentenced to four years imprisonment, by a Federal High Court, Lagos. The 33 years old convict was given the jail terms by Justice Rilwan Aikawa, after pleaded guilty to a count charge of unlawful dealing in the banned weed, leveled against him by the National Drug Laws Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
