NCPC boss , Adegbite commiserates with Gov Umo Eno over death of First Lady
The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has commiserated with the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, on the sudden demise of his wife, the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, who passed on to eternal glory on September 26, 2024, after a brief illness.
In the words of the NCPC boss, “I am saddened with the news of the death of our dear First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, especially because she died at a time her services are most needed in advancing the cause of women, children, and mankind.”
Bishop Adegbite urged the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom, Pastor Umo Eno, to take solace in God, because “it is not how long we live on earth that matters, but how well.” According to him, “Mrs. Patience Umo Eno has played her part while on earth and she will forever be remembered for her selfless service to God and humanity.”
He described her untimely demise as a monumental loss to the family and the entire state. Bishop Adegbite further affirmed that “no one can question the decision of God in anything; He alone knows the end from the beginning.”
He prayed that the Good Lord will grant the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, his immediate family, and the entire Akwa Ibomites the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
He also prayed that her gentle soul should rest in peace in the bosom of the Lord.
