The African Tourism Board has congratulated Madame Samia Suluhu Hassan, the first woman President of Tanzania

The Board Executives, like Dr Taleb Rifai, ATB’s Patron, Alain St.Ange. the President and Board Members, Dr Walter Mzembi and Juergen Steinmetz said in a discussion this week that ATB has congratulated the new President of Tanzania Madame Samia Suluhu Hassan.

The African Tourism Board’s President Alain St.Ange said President Madame Samia Suluhu Hassan who comes from the Indian Ocean Island of Zanzibar, becomes also the first female President in the East Africa Region and the ninth woman President in the continent.

The President St.Ange stated that the African Tourism Board looks forward to continue working with Tanzania as the continent prepares arrangements for a post-Covid era.

For St. Ange, this accession rewards the commitment of the United Nations and several international organizations and national institutions to the advancement of women’s participation in political processes and, above all, their involvement in elections. It also embodies real opportunities for women to move into leadership positions.
The President of the African Tourism Board Alain St.Ange is delighted that the world is deriving a sustainable future with equal rights and opportunity for all.
