The management and staff of Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB), Nigeria have been charged to engage in sacrifice and love in the pursuit of making the agency attain the desired lofty height.
The charge was given yesterday in Abuja by the commissioner/ chief executive officer of AIB, Nigeria Engr. Akin Olateru in his Eid el Kabir message to the staff.
According to the AIB boss, the muslim festival showcases the benefits of love and sacrifices, which, he said were highly needed at this critical time.
His words; “The celebration is underscored by the theme of sacrifice and love. There is no other time in our collective history as a nation and as an organisation that we need these virtues more than now. The challenges posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic require that we brace up to make more sacrifices and work together as a team based on love and respect for one another.”
He enjoined the workers not to allow the message of love and sacrifice to ‘be lost on us as we revel in the celebrations of the season.’
The commissioner however said he appreciated ‘the contributions of everyone to the remarkable progress AIB-N is making in our march towards greatness’ and urged them to redouble their efforts.
Olateru appealed to the staff to stay safe and be mindful of the need to observe the necessary protocols as they go about celebrating during salah.
AIB-N is the agency responsible for investigating aircraft accidents and serious incidents with a view to preventing future recurrence similar events.
