ART lauds Air Peace on evacuation of Nigerians from South Africa
The Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative, generally known as ART has commended the chairman of Air Peace Airline, Chief Allen Onyema and his Staff for the humanitarian gesture of extending their services to airlift home the Nigerian victims of Xenophobic attacks in South Africa.
The ART in a letter signed by its secretary general, Group Captain (Rtd) titled: Letter of commendation for good sense of corporate social responsibility to Air Peace chairman and staff stated that the association join other Nigerians to extend gratefulness to the airline for the invaluable services and initiative of kindness rendered to fellow Nigerians in their time of needs,
The letter reads:” The president, executives and members of the Aviation Safety Round Table Initiative, generally known as ART, wish to acknowledge and commend the Air Peace Airline Chairman and his Staff for the humanitarian gesture of extending their services to airlift home the Nigerian victims of the Xenophobia in South Africa.
We join other Nigerians to extend gratefulness for the invaluable services and initiative of kindness rendered to fellow Nigerians in their time of needs, when others are still contemplating”.
The letter reads further: “We pray to God to reward every member of your flight crew and ground staff that are involved in the airlifting operations, with God’s kindness and blessings from the abundance of His riches.
For the Chairman in particular, may God reward your kind initiative for doing something nice to people who need our help most at the time of their needs. Your gesture is a commendable good service of Corporate Social Responsibility that deserves a national recognition”.
