Campaign against moral decadence: Nigerian women commends IGP, Runsewe

The National Council of Women Society (NCWS) has commended the Inspector General of Police, Mr Muhammed Adamu and the director general of the National Council of Art and Culture (NCAC) Otunba Segun Runsewe for spearheading the campaign against moral decadence in Nigeria.

The NCWS expressed happy that their visit to the DG of NCAC has yielded positive responses from the government and the public as indicated by the actions so far taken and messages it continue to receive from well-meaning Nigerians.

In a statement signed by the national president of NCWS, Dr Mrs Gloria Laraba Shoda, Nigerian women described as offensive the promotion of despicable conducts such as nudity and transgender activities by the likes of Bobrisky.

The NCWS lauded Otunba Runsewe for exposing the unbecoming conduct of Bobrisky and the IGP for his intervention to stern the ugly trend.
The NCWS lamented that the unwanton show of cross gender is projecting a negative image to Nigerian youths, adding that his activities are not the true representation of our culture.
