Nigerian carrier, Dana Air has disclosed that the airline is targeting to airlift about 7.2 million passengers in the first quarter of 2020.
This was disclosed by the airline’s media and communications manager, Kingsley Ezenwa during the recent Air Transport Quarterly Magazine award in Lagos organised by Prince Supo Atobatele where the airline won the Most Stable Airline in Nigeria .
Ezenwa stated that Dana Air has been in operation for the past 11 years doing what it knows how to do best with a fleet size which has progressively grown to 9 aircraft.
According to him: “We have been here for the past 11 years doing what we know how to do passionately and persistently. With a fleet size which we have progressively grown to 9 aircraft, our target is to hit about 7.2 million passengers by the first quarter of 2020. We are orderly and we like to take one step at a time. We are presently consolidating while sticking to our strategic fleet and route expansion plan”.
On the award, Ezenwa said, “the reward for hard work is more work. There is no better way to end the year 2019 than a recognition like this.”
