The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Friday quizzed the immediate past Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio over allegation of misappropriating 108.1billion fund when he was the governor of his state.

Akpabio was regarded as the governor that brought uncommon transformation to Akwa –Ibom state, building state of the art hospitals, stadium, roads and other infrastructural facilities.
He has been recently criticised for building world class hospital in Akwa-Ibom state but was flown abroad when he had an accident in Abuja thus ridiculing the much talked about world class hospital.
With time, some of his colleagues both in the Senate and outside the Senate will also be invited to give account of their stewardship as governors in their various states.
