Ethiopian Airlines resumes Abuja flight, aircraft arrives, departs Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport
Ethiopian Airlines flight today, Monday September 7th arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja Airport after suspension of flight to Nigeria following the closure of the airspace by the federal government to stem the tide of COVID 19 in the country .
The aircraft arrived at 2pm to a water cannon reception.
On hand at the airport were officials from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Immigration, National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC and others to receive the Airbus A350 and do their duties.
The aircraft arrived with I80 passengers and departed with another 257 passengers.
The airline will also resume flight operations to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos on Tuesday 8th of September.
The airline will be operating the Lagos route with B777 aircraft and will be operating four times weekly.
