FAAN begins installation of check in, screening equipment, appeals for understanding
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has informed airlines, passengers and other stakeholders that the equipment required for addressing the challenges recent in airport operations and facilitation management systems at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja respectively, have arrived Nigeria and are already being installed.
FAAN in a statement signed by the general manager, Corporate Affairs, Henrietta Yakubu (Mrs) said additional 15 security screening machines procured for immediate deployment to the General Aviation Terminal and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos are been installed already.
“The Authority is using this opportunity to appeal to all stakeholders to please bear with us while the installation would last, as all hands are on deck to ensure speedy completion of the project”, Mrs Yakubu said.
