FTAN finalises preparations for 2026 AGM, NTIFE, opens July 30 in Abuja

The stage is set for the 29th Annual General Meeting, AGM, of Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria and the 9th edition of the Nigeria Tourism Investors Forum and Exhibition, NTIFE.

Key decision makers in the tourism sector, stakeholders, investors, and industry leaders are expected explore the future of tourism in Nigeria during the programme.

The tourism expo and exhibition with the theme: “Tourism Transformation Through Collaboration, Policy Alignment and Investment”, which is
slated for
the 30th–31st July, 2026
at 00 Monoliza Sport and Recreation Centre, Abuja is
planned to coincide with the Annual General Meeting, AGM, of the association.

As part of preparations for the event, the President of FTAN, Dr. Badaki Aliyu had paid a courtesy visit to the management of the leading Hotels in Lagos and Abuja to seek for their collaboration and partnership for the event .

The visit underscored the importance of having international hotel brands operating in the country working with the private sector through its umbrella body, FTAN, in growing the Nigerian Hospitality industry.

Badaki had earlier emphasised the need for partnerships in the area of training, participation in the association’s programmes among others in making
the 2026 NTIFE bigger and better through their participation and support.

According to Badaki, the 2026 NTIFE and AGM is slated to take place in July to avoid the tight November schedule when a lot of programmes will be taking place in the industry.

According to him, the 2026 NTIFE is going to be very exciting and bigger, featuring food fair, exhibition and others.
