They are too deadly ready to kill and maim because of land. Like the Niger Delta militants whose natural resources is oil, to the Omoniles, land is their own crude oil, that is why one piece of land can be sold to different buyers over and over and again even if it means to kill with charms or any others means to repossess the land they have sold and eaten the money. The Omonile are the notorious land owners in Lagos and other South Western states. They are fierce, dangerous and evil, ready to kill so as to dispossess people of the land they sold to them. Those who have not experienced or encountered the Omoniles in Lagos may not know how dangerous they are. They sell land over and over and again to different people without minding the consequences so that those people can kill themselves and the land will revert back to them.
They are humans, but do not have heart or pity for any one. They do all sorts of things ranging from spying on people who want to do renovation of their building, fence or replacement of an old roof; here they charge people again as if they are building a new house.
After selling most of the land and money is not coming again, they have resorted to using charms to kill unsuspecting buyers they sold land to after collecting their money so as to take back the land. This was the unsavory story of a Germany based business man who narrowly escaped death in the hands of these Lagos land owners.
For this German based business man, he has all the reasons in the world to thank God for saving his life in the hands of the wicked Omonile’s who had perfected plans to eliminate him over a piece of land, but only survived by God’s grace.
The man whose family is based in Lagos said he paid N1.5 million for a plot of Land in Isheri after Bucknor, but was told to come and pick the receipt of the land the next day, very early in the morning on the land.
The man who left his house early told the wife that he was going to pick the receipt of the land as promised him by those who sold the land to him. But on getting there, there was another evil plot that has been perfected waiting for him.
On getting to the land, the Omoniles having prepared a potent charm which they claimed has not failed them before used the charm on the German based business man and he instantly became unconscious and ran into his car and drove off like a wounded cobra for about few minutes into another compound around the area and collapsed.
The owner of the house who is a pastor narrated that he does not even know how the gate of his compound came to be left open for somebody to drive in and collapsed.
According to the pastor, “the man drove into my compound and immediately rushed of the car and collapsed, I was so shocked and do not know what to do because I do not know the man and have not seen him before, but immediately another young man rushed into the compound and claimed that the young man who fainted in my compound is his brother. By this time, my wife was with me and few other people joined me, I asked the man who claimed to be his brother what happened to his brother and he said he do not know what is happening to him.
So we decided to search his pocket so that we can use his phone to call his wife or any relative, while we wanted to do that, the young man who claimed to be his brother quickly dipped hand into the pocket of the young man who had fainted and was searching him, in the process, he brought out 6000 Euro and N50,00 and I asked him why, he said he wanted to keep it for him so that if he regains consciousness, he will collect the money, but we said no, that it was wrong to do that to an unconscious person. That action gave us the impression that all his major concern was how to get that money. From that time we became suspicious of him. Immediately we called the wife and she picked we asked her about the whereabouts of the husband and she said he left early in the morning to pick the receipt of the land he paid. We asked her to come immediately, after describing the place for her, she came, by the time she came, there was no way of escape for the man who claimed to be his brother, he looked for opportunity to escape, but could not, then we asked the woman if she knew the man, and she said no, that the man is not even related to them in any way as she has not seen him before.”
The Pastor narrated further that, “alarmed that people may kill him there, he started confessing that he is one of the Omoniles, that they used a potent charm on the man which has not failed them before, but the man struggled and got away with it, that was why he followed him, because he knew definitely that the man will definitely die, so as to collect things he has in his pocket.”
Before the police whisked him away, he confessed that this is what they specialised on, to sell land to people and later kill them with powerful charms so as to reposes the land and resell it. But could not explain how the man managed to escape from the land only to land in another person’s compound.
He also confessed that in a situation where the man had died in the land, they will take his body away from the land and dump him somewhere and will deny ever having any land deal with him, because the receipt of the land has not been given to him.
But after several hours of prayers, the man was resuscitated and he narrated what happened to him.
The Pastor who was the most grateful person thanked God that the man did not die in his compound.
He said: “what would I have told people that happened to the man right in my compound that people will believe me, they will say this is how we get our powers to perform miracles. Nobody would have believed my innocence especially when it was a stranger that I have not seen before. God works in mysterious ways, he let this happened this way so that he will expose these wicked criminals.”
Meanwhile, the Omonile who claimed to be the brother of the man they wanted to kill with charms has been handed over to the police alongside his other accomplices.
Also narrating what nearly happened to him, another landlord in the area explained that when he bought his own land from the omoniles, that they did everything to eliminate him but did not succeed.
After paying for the land and started developing it, they started sending Kabiru to my house, Kabiru was the person who linked me to the family I bought the land from and I have been good to him. That time, he was coming to my house in the guise that he wanted to see me and also greet my wife, but I did not suspect anything, he came the first and second time and I gave him food, money and other take away things like vegetable oil and others, but the third time he started crying that I should forgive him because he was sent on a mission to my house to collect slippers or any of my cloths so that they can use it to do juju for me so that I will never be healthy to enter the land again because they wanted to resell it.
He confessed that he has made serious attempts to get any of items but has not succeeded, as my generosity disarmed him on each attempt he made.
I was so shocked that I could not believe it, even when packing to house after completing it; I have to hire powerful pastors to word off all the charms they buried on the land, he said.
This is an eye opener to those wishing to buy land in Lagos so that they will be careful of the wolves called Omoniles.
