The Governor of Kebbi state, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu has assured that Nigeria will defeat the evil of insecurity.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 7th Nuru Sani Kangiwa Polo Tournament and Cultural Festival , Governor Bagudu said despite the pockets of insecurity in the state, the people will overcome.
He stated that the people will still go to their farms, do their sports and will not be deterred.
The Governor said this what their forefathers did to defeat evil.
The Governor commended, Alhaji Nura Sani Kangiwa, the organiser of the polo and cultural festival for being instrumental to the success of the programme.
The event featured scintillating cultural displays, drumming and exciting magical displays by the Argungu magicians that spiced up the event.
