The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has commiserated with the families of compatriots who lost their lives in the ill-fated Eastwind helicopter crash on Thursday, the 24th of October, 2024 in Port Harcourt.
NAMA in a statement by signed by Engr Farouk Ahmed Umar, Managing Director/ Chief Executive said as an agency, they are deeply grieved by the tragic loss of lives of 8 Nigerians in the course of service to their fatherland.
Engr Farouk stated that that: “Our hearts go out to their families and loved ones at this difficult and trying moment.
As we join the rest of the nation to mourn the demise of these outstanding Nigerians who paid the supreme price in the course of contributing to the growth of the Nigerian economy, it is our collective hope that their sacrifice will not be in vain.
May Almighty God grant their bereaved families and loved ones the courage to bear this irreversible loss and may the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. Amen”.
