Rev Uja applauds Catholic Youths for partnering with NCPC

The Executive of Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Rev. Tor Uja received in audience the members of the Catholic Youth organization of Nigeria (CYON) who paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja.

He thanked the members of CYON for choosing to partner with the Commission for the cause of Christ.

The NCPC boss stressed that the greatest strength of the country is the youth and should be encouraged in their spiritual pursuit, educational and otherwise.

According to the NCPC boss, “I want to let you know that being young is an asset”.

He explained that the idea of youth pilgrimage was to accommodate the youth in the pilgrimage programmes of the Commission in order to empower them and expose them to important Holy Sites that would positively transform their lives.

He called on Churches to send their Youths to Israel so that they would come back with positive testimonies.

Rev. Uja further thanked the members of CYON for partnering with the Commission on the Win A Trip To Israel tickets.

Earlier, the national President of CYON, Mr. Charles Ekpe thanked the executive secretary for partnering with the Organization on Win A Trip To Israel (WATTI)

His words: “whatever we have started will continue”. He added, “we hope what has started today will continue”.

Mr. Ekpe congratulated Rev. Uja for his well deserved appointment. He promised that his organization will continue to support the programme of the Commission. According to him, “we will move the sales of these tickets to a new level”.

The highlights of the event was the presentation of WATTI T-Shirts to the National President by the NCPC boss.
