Former Governor of Plateau State, a serving Senator and member of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Joshua Dariye on Tuesday June 12 bagged 14-years imprisonment for graft.
Senator Dariye wept as Justice Adebukola Banjoko of the Federal High Court Gudu, Abuja delivered the judgement.
The Senator was convicted on 15 counts charges out of 23 charges bordering on misappropriation and embezzlement of N1.6bn ecological funds from the state’s coffers during his tenure as governor.
