Covid-19 origin: National Park CG calls for introduction of wildlife consumption in prevention campaigns

Dr Ibrahim Goni, the Conservator General of the National Park Service says the consumption of wildlife as the likely origin of Covid-19 should not be left out in the prevention campaign of the deadly virus. CG National Park warns on dangers of another zoonotic disease now

The Conservator- General (CG), National Park Service, Dr Ibrahim Goni, has warned that the world cannot afford another zoonotic disease now while still battling with the scourge of Covid-19. Goni who gave the warning in a statement issued by Mr Yakubu Zull his media assistant, was reacting to the recent report of dead fishes washed ashore by waves in Rivers and Bayelsa States.
