Justice Rilwan Aikawa of a Federal High Court, Lagos, today, dismissed an application filed by Governor Emmanuel Udom of Akwa-Ibom state challenging the court’s jurisdiction to entertain the charge slammed on the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Paul Usoro (SAN). N1.4bn Fraud: EFCC arraigns NBA President, Paul Usoro, gets N250m bail

The Econimic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), today, arraigned the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA) Paul Usoro (SAN), before a Federal High Court, Lagos, on a 10 count-charge bordering on N1.4 billion fraud. Usoro (SAN) was arraigned before Justice Sule Hassan led-court on the alleged offences. He had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
