FAAN’s ARFFS battles bush fire around MMIA, Lagos

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has informed airlines operators other airport users that a bush fire incident has been reported around the RESA of 36L, Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. FAAN in a statement signed by the general manager, corporate affair, Henrietta Yakubu (Mrs.) said officers of the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Services (ARFFS) are presently on ground and fire fighting is in progress. The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has advised passengers and other airport users to comply with all quarantine procedures at the nation’s airports.
