Court sentences 2 NAHCO staff to 2 years imprisonment for aiding hard drug shipment

A Federal High Court, Lagos, today, convicted and sentenced two cargo handlers with the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO), Omoyemi Opeyemi Emmanuel and Akinyemi Sadudeen Idowu, for unlawful dealing in 25.220 kilograms of Ephedrine, a banned substance, to two year imprisonment each. Emmanuel and Idowu, were given the jail term, by Justice Ayo Emmanuel, after they had pleaded to a count charge of the offence leveled against them by the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). NDLEA arraigns Ghanaian, Togolese for importing 320kg Indian Hemp into Nigeria

The National Drug Laws Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arraigned a Ghanaian, Happy Allormasor and a Togolese, Kobia Takpa, before a Federal High Court, Lagos, for smuggling 320 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa, popularly called Indian hemps into the country from Ghana. The two alleged Indian hemp smugglers were arraigned before Justice N.
