A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has remanded a man who claimed to be a “Pentecostal pastor” Ugwuchukwu Godwin Chinedu to prison custody pending when his bail application for  alleged drug trafficking will be heard and determined. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, on Friday arraigned a lady, Okere Adaobi Mariam, who is in her mid-30, before a Federal High Court, Lagos, over alleged attempt to export 6.24 kilogrammes of cocaine. A hard drug merchant, Okonkwo Simon Chukwudi, has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by a Lagos Federal High Court, for attempting to export 10 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa, popularly called marijuana, to Maputo, the Mozambique capital. The National Drug Laws Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arraigned a Ghanaian, Happy Allormasor and a Togolese, Kobia Takpa, before a Federal High Court, Lagos, for smuggling 320 kilograms of Cannabis Sativa, popularly called Indian hemps into the country from Ghana.
