Terrorism: Iran expresses readiness to share experiences with Nigeria

Islamic Republic of Iran has expressed readiness to exchange experiences with Nigeria in fighting terrorism.
Iran while condemning the bomb blasts in several mosques in North Eastern Nigeria which resulted in death and injury to over 150 worshippers, stressed the need for a concerted effort in the fight against terrorism.

The Foreign ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham underlined the need for an all-out fight against the extremism and extremist thoughts.

Afkham expressed sympathy with the Nigerian government and nation,
specially the bereaved family of the victims.

She restated that the Islamic Republic of Iran is readiness to exchange experiences with Nigeria in the field of fighting terrorism.
It would be recalled that about 30 people were killed in a bomb attack inside a mosque in eastern Nigeria, hours after dozens were killed in a similar assault.

The bombing was carried out at about 2:00 p.m. local time on Friday at the Jambutu Juma’at mosque, a newly-inaugurated religious center in Yola. About 100 people were also injured.
