Tezabeth Montessori School Students visit Little Saint Orphanage Home, donates gift items

Students from Tezabeth Montessori School, Agege on Tuesday donated gift items and a token to Little Saint Orphanage Home.

The donation was made during an excursion programme, also known as a field trip to the Orphanage .

The excursion to the Orphanage is part of the school’s learning process for the students.

The students were led .on the field trip by the Proprietress of the school,Mrs. Ozimede Kehinde

Other teachers who accompanied the students on the trip are Mr. Kuye Thompson and Mrs Obayemi Abimbola

At the facility, students were excited at what they saw, as they thanked God for being part of the excursion.

Speaking during the handing over of the gift items, the Proprietress of the school and Team Leader, Mrs. Ozimede Kehinde, said that the gift items were from the students of Tezabeth Montessori School..

The Team Leader also donated a little cash donation, which Ozimede, said is the token from the school to an official of the Orphanage, Mrs. Abiodun Juliet,

Ozimede noted that the students would have done more but that the excursion was planned at a very short notice.

The Team Leader commended the Little Saint Orphanage Home for a job well done, adding that it takes a loving person to take care of children that are not his or hers wholeheartedly.

She thereafter prayed for the children and management of the Orphanage by asking God to continue to guide and protect the children, management team and the founder of the Home

Receiving the items, an officer of the Orphanage, Mrs. Abiodun Juliet, thanked the school on behalf of the Orphanage for the visit,donated items and token.

Abiodun said the children and the entire team of Little Saint Orphanage Home appreciates all the gifts and token that were donated to the Home.

Speaking further Abiodun added that the measure of love shown to the children will return back in thousands fold.

She prayed for the students of the school, their parents/guardians, teachers, proprietress as well as the school management.

The class of students that made the field trip are : Grade one to Senior Secondary School(SSS 3).

Items donated to the Orphanage includes:
packs of drinks
clothes, shoes and sandals, carton of biscuits, packs of sweet and cash in envelope.

Little Saint Orphanage Home was establishef in June 4,1994 by Rev. Christiana George to cater for orphans, abused and abandoned and homeless children.

It was the first non-governmental indigenous orphanage approved by the
Lagos State government.as part of the school’s learning process for the students.
