Tourism has been a way of life for The Gambia which welcomes millions of tourists annually from the world over. Renowned for its majestic River Gambia – a unique, natural waterway that extends through the entire length of the country, with a natural ecosystem that provides a sanctuary for over 550 species of birds, The Gambia remains an un-spoilt tropical paradise, despite continuing developments within the country.
There are also investment opportunities in the upgrade of budget resorts to 3-star and 4-star hotels; maritime infrastructure; development of new 4-star and 5-star hotels; ecotourism facilities; integrated resorts; recreational parks; river cruise excursions, among others.
We at the Gambia Tourism Board and related organisations stand ready to assist prospective Nigerian investors with advice to facilitate setting up businesses in The Gambia and on ways to maximise returns on investment.
